It's time for another look at the UK boxed sales charts, and this week, Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon rules the roost.

For the week ending August 26th, Armored Core VI sits pretty in first place, so I guess those TV commercials and gameplay videos must have paid off.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which was last week's number one, has been shunted into second place, probably by Armored Core VI throwing a Koopa shell behind it.

In third, it's The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which looks like it's going to be in the charts for the long haul. That makes sense, given its incredible sales performance.

Fourth place goes to FIFA 23, and this is the last time you're going to see a FIFA game in the charts, at least until FIFA comes out with its own series to rival EA's newly-christened EA Sports FC.

Hogwarts Legacy is in fifth place, and when the Switch version arrives in a couple of months' time, it may well jump even further up the charts again.

Hogwarts Legacy is hanging on in there.

Having been in first place just a couple of weeks agoLego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga now finds itself in sixth, but that still isn't too shabby.

Seventh place goes to Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, which was in fifth place last week, and that means Warner Bros. Interactive holds three positions in a row in this week's chart.

In eighth, it's the Switch version of Minecraft, and ninth place goes to The Witcher III: Wild Hunt Game of the Year Edition, which packs Geralt's base adventure in with the two additional DLC packs for the much-loved RPG.

Finally, in tenth place, it's Grand Theft Auto V, which is celebrating its tenth year on release this year. How time flies.

Eleventh through fifteenth place are as follows: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare IIStar Wars Jedi: SurvivorRed Dead Redemption 2Pikmin 4, and Nintendo Switch Sports.

That's it for this week's chart! Join us again next week, when we'll hopefully be taking another look at all things UK gaming sales.
