Today Creative Assembly released an extensive gameplay video of its upcoming Total War strategy game Total War: Pharaoh.
Following yesterday's trailer that introduced Ramesses, Egypt's "warrior pharaoh" and leader of one of the factions that are playable in the game, today we get a detailed and in-depth introduction of how he plays both in the campaign map and on the battlefield map.
You can watch Ramesses and his soldiers in action below.
Total War: Pharaoh will release exclusively for PC on Steam and Epic Games Store in October 2023, We already know that it'll come in three formats. The standard version for $59.99, the Deluxe Edition for $72.87, and the Dynasty Edition for $91.46. A precise release date has not been announced just yet, but you can check out the original reveal and the first gameplay.
If you prefer a less historical setting, an extensive roadmap for updates for Total War: Warhammer 3 has been revealed a few days ago. While Pharaoh is coming out this year, Creative Assembly still intends to continue supporting its popular rendition of Games Workshop's fantasy IP for a long time, well into 2024 and even beyond. This shouldn't be surprising, considering that Games Workshop itself is looking to revive its classic setting with The Old World, finally correcting the obvious mistake made when they simply discarded it for the much less universally loved Age of Sigmar.
