Today Creative Assembly released a new trailer of its upcoming Total War strategy game Total War: Pharaoh.
The trailer focuses on Ramesses, Egypt's "warrior pharaoh" and leader of one of the factions that are playable in the game. It comes ahead of Ramesses' own gameplay reveal, which will happen tomorrow.
You can watch him and his soldiers in action below.
Total War: Pharaoh will release exclusively for PC on Steam and Epic Games Store in October 2023, and it'll come in three formats. The standard version for $59.99, the Deluxe Edition for $72.87, and the Dynasty Edition for $91.46. A precise release date has not been announced just yet, but you can check out the original reveal and the first gameplay.
If you prefer a less historical setting, an extensive roadmap for updates for Total War: Warhammer 3 has been revealed a few days ago. While Pharaoh is coming out this year, Creative Assembly still intends to continue supporting its popular rendition of Games Workshop's fantasy IP for a long time, well into 2024 and even beyond. This shouldn't be surprising, considering that Games Workshop itself is looking to revive its classic setting with The Old World, several years after the incredibly misguided decision that led to it being discarded.
