Today Bandai Namco revealed a brand new trailer of the upcoming anime-inspired game Sword Art Online Last Recollection.
This time around, the trailer focuses on the story, providing a look at some of the characters that we'll meet in the game, including original ones like the dark knight named Dorothy. Sword Art Online games always tend to add new characters and especially new romantic interests for Kirito, who obviously doesn't have enough in the anime. We also take another look at the young girl named Sarai.
Their voice actresses have also been announced. Dorothy will be voiced by Rina Sato, whom you may know as Makoto Niijima in Persona 5, Eula in Genshin Impact, Velvet in Tales of Berseria, and Vert in the Hyperdimension Neptunia series.
Sarai is voiced by Yuuki Kuwahara, who previously lent her voice to Hilda in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Lily in Death end re;Quest, and Kohaku in Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon.
More known characters that we learn will appear in the game are Lisbeth, Silica, Klein, Egil, Fanatio, Scheta, Kainan, and Vassago. As a bonus, Asuna, Leafa, and Sinon will also appear in their goddess forms.

Interestingly, the trailer features the debut of the theme song which is titled "Vita." It is performed as usual by popular singer ReoNa who has lent her voice to many of the songs of the anime and of the games themselves.
In case you missed the original announcement made back in November, the game is a retelling of the Sword Art Online Alicization: War of Underworld arc of the anime and is set in the Dark Territory of Underworld. It will also serve as a sequel to Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris.
Sword Art Online Last Recollection is coming forPS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC in 2023.
