Today, before the Street Fighter 6 tournament at EVO 2023, Capcom had news to share about content coming to the game, including a TMNT collaboration.
The collaboration, which will include costumes and more, is the first thing we're getting among today's reveals, launching on August 8.
You can check out the trailer below. Speaking of costumes, we just saw some more that are coming down the line a couple of days ago, and they're rather snazzy.
Next, is the first cinematic look at the second DLC character coming to the game, A.K.I, who will be released in the fall. Previously, all we had seen about her was artwork, and she certainly looks like she'd be fun at parties.
You can check her out in the cinematic trailer below.
Street Fighter 6 is out now for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The game has already sold two million copies worldwide.
If you'd like to know more about the game, you can read our review in which our Robert Scarpinito described it as "one of the easiest on-ramps to the deep world of fighting games, appealing to casual players and veterans alike. With a diverse roster, meaty gameplay, and flashy animations," expecting the game to become an "FGC staple for years to come."
Recently we got the release of the first DLC character, Rashid, and we learned that Ed and Akuma will also come as DLC character respectively in Winter and Spring in 2024. Speaking of collaborations, we heard about one with the popular anime Spy x Family, but no real details on that have been shared for now.
