During a livestream hosted today, Capcom showcased the next character coming to its fighting game Street Fighter 6, Akuma.
We get to see a short video showcasing Akuma, who has been confirmed to be coming this spring, as we already knew
He will be included in the World Tour with new missions and a dedicated area. Of course, he will be available as a master like the other DLC characters released so far.

We hear from game director Takayuki Nakayama that an update coming with Akuma will include new sound-related features and new events for the Battle Hub. Nakayama-san also revealed that the development team is already working on content for the game's Year 2.
Akuma will be the last DLC character coming in Year 1, following Ed, who was released in February, the brand-new character A.K.I., and the returning veteran Rashid,
You can check out the teaser trailer below. At the moment, a specific release date has not been announced. That being said, the spring is just around the corner, so we should learn more soon enough.
Street Fighter 6 is currently available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The game has shipped over 3 million units as of January 3.
