Today Capcom released a trailer focusing on the collaboration between Street Fighter 6 and the anime movie Spy × Family Code: White.
The crossover was teased all the way back at Anime Expo in the summer with no information, so it has taken quite some time to materialize.
While details about the collaboration are still scarce, we do know that in-game items will be released on January 9, 2024.
For now, we get to see a gorgeous anime short showing Yor Forger and Chun Li in what appears to be a spectacular but friendly duel.
If you're wondering, the short was animated by WIT Studio, which worked on the Spy × Family anime.
At the end of the trailer below you can also find the full key artwork of the collaboration, also featuring Loyd Forge, Ryu, Anya, Bond, and more.
I have a feeling that we'll be getting at least a Yor skin in the game, but this is just my personal speculation, so do take it with a big grain of salt. Considering that it was teased twice, months apart, we can likely expect some pretty neat stuff.
Street Fighter 6 is available now for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Its success has been sealed by rather good sales for a fighting game, having shipped over 2.47 million units as of September 30, as mentioned during the reveal of Capcom's strong financial results.
Recently, Capcomi released the third outfit for all launch characters on top of the Second DLC character A.K.I., who followed the first, who was Rashid. The first character pass will include two more fighters, Ed and Akuma, respectively arrivingthis Winter and in the Spring in 2024.
