Today Capcom released a new video showcasing the theme song of Street Fighter 6's first DLC character, Rashid.
The song is aptly titled "The Turbulent Wind" and comes ahead of the DLC's release that will happen in just a few days on July 24, 2023.
You can check out the video below. It doesn't show any gameplay, but you can see plenty of that in the trailer released a few days ago to introduce Rashid.
Street Fighter 6 is currently available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Additionally, an arcade version will be released through Taito, though it may only be available in Japan for the time being. The game has already sold two million copies worldwide.
You can read our review of Street Fighter 6 in which our Robert Scarpinito defined it as "one of the easiest on-ramps to the deep world of fighting games, appealing to casual players and veterans alike. With a diverse roster, meaty gameplay, and flashy animations," expecting the game to be an "FGC staple for years to come."
Besides Rashid, recently we learned that A.K.I., Ed, and Akuma will also come as DLC characters respectively in Fall 2023, Winter (after the new year in 2024), and Spring 2024. We also heard about a collaboration with the popular anime Spy x Family, but details are still scarce on that.
