Street Fighter 6 Rashid

Today Capcom revealed and launched the new Street Fighter 6 Fighting Pass, and it's a rather special one as it teases the release of Rashid.

While the returning fighter doesn't have a release date yet besides a generic "summer", the fighting pass announced on social media and themed after him starts today (July 4) and ends on on July 23. Make of this what you will.

The price is 250 fighter coins and it includes avatar gear (jacket, pants, sneakers, visor, and backpack), a photo border, an emote, three music tracks, three title cards, a device background, five stickers, and a classic game, the mecha horizontal scrolling shoot 'em up Hyper Dyne Side Arms, originally released in 1986.

You can find all the content in the infographic below.

Street Fighter 6 is currently available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Additionally, an arcade version will be released through Taito, though it may only be available in Japan for the time being.

You can read our review of the game in which our Robert Scarpinito defined it as "one of the easiest on-ramps to the deep world of fighting games, appealing to casual players and veterans alike. With a diverse roster, meaty gameplay, and flashy animations," expecting the game to be an "FGC staple for years to come."

Besides Rashid, recently we learned that A.K.I., Ed, and Akuma will also come as DLC characters respectively in Fall 2023, Winter (after the new year in 2024), and Spring 2024. We also heard about a collaboration with the popular anime Spy x Family, but details are still scarce on that.
