Bethesda just announced a new player milestone for its brand new space RPG Starfield, and it's a big one.
According to an announcement made on X (formerly Twitter), the game has passed 6 million players as of this morning.
As a result, Starfield is officially the biggest launch ever for a Bethesda game, which is certainly very flattering for a new IP.
Just yesterday, we learned that the game had exceeded 1 million concurrent players across all platforms, and today's figure certainly solidifies the impression that Starfield's release has been very successful.
Starfield is available now for Xbox Series X|S and PC (via Steam and Windows Store), and Game Pass. It's very likely that the availability on Microsoft's subscription service helped put the game in the hands of many potential fans.
