During Electronic Arts' quarterly financial conference call, chief executive officer Andrew Wilson delivered news about the blockbuster action-adventure Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
According to Wilson, the Jedi: Survivor will be released on PS4 and Xbox One, making the rare jump from a current-generation-only game to a cross-generation game.

Millions of players have already engaged with a game making it one of the biggest events in the Star Wars Galaxy this year. Thanks to the strength of this legendary franchise our development team has committed to bringing this Jedi experience to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
No release windows have been provided as development is in the early phase.
Chief financial officer Stuart Canfield also added that the game launched to critical success and recorded performance in line with the company's expectations. EA expects it to continue delivering long-term value.
