A new Star Wars Jedi: Survivor patch has been announced. Patch 4 is aiming to fix more performance issues on both PC and consoles, and it's coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S sometime today. The patch is also heading to PC this week, although we don't have a specific time frame for that yet.

According to EA's new patch notes, Patch 4 is "expected to deploy" today for consoles and "as soon as possible" for PC. There are a number of PC-only changes heading your way in this patch, including performance boosts for some VFX (which are also coming to console soon), non-raytraced data handling improvements, and updated occlusion behavior for raytracing.

As well as the PC-only improvements, you're also getting an HDR value mismatch fix for PS5, correcting an issue that caused HDR setups to display incorrectly on that console. That fix doesn't seem to be coming to Xbox Series X|S, so either it isn't needed on that console or it's not ready for Microsoft's ecosystem yet.

Naturally, various bug fixes are also included in this Star Wars Jedi: Survivor patch. They include "various save state errors", as well as progression fixes for an unbeatable boss, an improperly-activating vent, and more. Suffice it to say that if you've been prevented from making progress by a bug, you should head back in after this patch and see if things have improved.

EA says it's also aware of a number of other issues affecting Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and it's investigating those issues for future updates. These issues include performance improvements for newer i7 and i9 CPUs, as well as boosts for CPU and GPU utilization. Looks like EA is making good on its promise to implement fixes for the PC version of Jedi: Survivor after all.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is available right now for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. It's been heavily criticized by PC gamers in particular (but also console gamers to a lesser extent) for its various performance issues and technical glitches at launch, so hopefully, this new patch, as well as the one released last week, will go some way towards fixing that. Stay tuned for more. In the meantime, make sure to check out our Star Wars Jedi: Survivor guides to help you see Cal's journey through to its conclusion.
