EA has released a Star Wars Jedi: Survivor patch intended to address performance on the PC version of the game. In addition, patches for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions are arriving tomorrow, containing many changes that have already been applied to the game's PC version.
According to a tweet on the official EA Star Wars Twitter account, the aforementioned PC patch has already been released and should be available to download on your storefront of choice. Only one improvement is listed, and it reads as follows: "performance improvements for non-raytraced rendering". In short, it seems like this means you can look forward to performance boosts if you're playing the game without ray tracing enabled.
If you need a quick refresher, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor launched on Friday, and PC players quickly began to report problems with the game's PC port, leading to a review bomb on Steam. EA and Respawn quickly acknowledged these issues and promised to launch a patch "as soon as possible", and while this initial patch likely won't fix all of the problems, it's a start.

There's also a patch in the works for the console versions of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which have been experiencing their own performance issues (although not on the same scale as the PC versions, thankfully for console players). The patch will include numerous changes that have already come to the PC version, including various bug and crash fixes, as well as "performance improvements" for both PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. It remains to be seen whether these improvements will fix the stutters and frame drops console players are seeing in Performance Mode.
EA and Respawn say they'll continue to work on fixes for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, but in the meantime, you can pick the game up right now on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Despite its issues, our reviewer Erren Van Duine found much to like about Star Wars Jedi: Survivor; in her review, she called it an "astonishing achievement" and praised its strong map design and abundance of side content.
