Today Atlus opened the floodgates of pre-orders for the upcoming enhanced multiplatform release of Shin Megami Tensei V, dubbed Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance.
Despite the fact that the game was revealed at the latest Nintendo Direct partner showcase, it's actually a former exclusive that the Switch is losing.
Physical pre-orders are now available for all platforms (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Switch), while digital pre-orders are now available for everything (including Steam) but the Switch. Details about pre-orders on the Nintendo eShop will be shared at a later date.
On top of the pre-order news, we also get an extended cut of the trailer introduced at the Nintendo Direct, showing more story and gameplay, including the new revenge-themed story content.
This improved release includes the ability to choose between the original story, the Canon of Creation, or the new Canon of Vengeance. The Canon of Vengeance includes new characters, a new area, new demons, a new dungeon, and more.
