Today Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed the games that PlayStation Plus Subscribers will receive at no additional cost in December 2023.
The announcement has been made, as usual, on the official PlayStation Blog, mentioning that all the games for December will be made available on December 5 and will remain unlockable until January 1, so you have a bit less than a month, this time.
We start with PowerWash Simulator, the quirky and popular game developed by FuturLab and published by Square Enix, which will be available for both PS4 and PS5.
The next game brings us to the world of bricks and racing and it's Lego 2K Drive, developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Games. This is also available for both PS5 and PS4.
Lastly, we're getting the indie darling Sable, created by Shedworks and published by Raw Fury. Unlke the other games coming in December, this one will be available only for PS5.
It's worth mentioning that the games for November, including 2K Games' Mafia 2: Definitive Edition for PS4, Bandai Namco's Dragon Ball: The Breakers, also for PS4, and Cold Iron Studios' Aliens Fireteam Elite for both PS4 and PS5, will be available until December 4, so you still have a few days to grab them.
If you're unfamiliar with PlayStation Plus, it's Sony's monthly subscription service. In addition to access to online multiplayer, it provides a series of monthly games as part of its Essentials tier. Once unlocked, players can play them even when they leave the lineup as long as they remain PlayStation Plus members.
Two more tiers are available, Extra and Premium, providing access to increasingly large catalog of games, including retro games for older PlayStation consoles in the Premium tier (which is called Deluxe in markets that don't have Cloud Streaming available).
Sony has recently stopped announcing the number of active PlayStation Plus users during its quarterly financial reveals.
