The upcoming PowerWash Simulator Final Fantasy VII crossover DLC now has a release date. You'll be able to hose down the classic JRPG's Guard Scorpion boss, as well as Tifa's Seventh Heaven bar and three other iconic Final Fantasy VII jobs, on March 2nd, and the DLC will be totally free if you own the game.
On the Square Enix blog, the PowerWash Simulator publisher breaks down the jobs you can expect to take on when the Final Fantasy VII DLC lands. According to the blog, the mess you'll be clearing up was made by "Don Corneo's lackeys, Professor Hojo's 'specimens' and Heidegger's dangerous tech", which is a cute touch.
It's not just a neat lore detail, though; the involvement of these infamous Final Fantasy VII figures means you'll have new dirt types like bio-residue to contend with. Of course, it's nothing that your high-powered pressure-washer and other tools can't deal with, so you'd better mosey on down to Midgar and get to work.

Here's a full rundown of the five new Final Fantasy VII-themed jobs that will become available when this new PowerWash Simulator update launches.
- Hardy Daytona and Shinra Hauler vehicles
- Guard Scorpion (or Scorpion Sentinel) boss
- Seventh Heaven bar
- Mako Energy Exhibit in the Shinra Building
- Airbuster mech boss
This will mark the second crossover content pack for PowerWash Simulator after a pack themed around action-adventure franchise Tomb Raider was released last month. We don't know what other crossover content awaits in PowerWash Simulator's future, but it's exciting to imagine what other Square Enix franchises could be introduced to the game. Dragon Quest? Front Mission? Maybe even Just Cause? It'd make a difference hosing down billboards and buildings instead of blowing them up, after all.
You'll be able to grab the PowerWash Simulator Final Fantasy VII crossover DLC on March 2nd across PC and consoles. It'll be available free of charge if you already own the game, and if the Tomb Raider pack is anything to go by, you'll also be able to play these new jobs on the Game Pass version. Stay tuned for more info.
