Monster Hunter Rise sales have crossed 8 million units worldwide and a new collaboration event featuring Universal Studios Japan has been announced.
The latest game in the Monster Hunter franchise is doing quite well since its launch back in March 2021. Now, Capcom has released the sales numbers -- and they're pretty damn impressive.
Monster Hunter Rise Sales Are Impressive, But Monster Hunter World Remains on Top
Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter Rise sales have hit 8 million units in less than a year, making this game an undeniable success. That's pretty great for this particular title, but it still has a long way to go to beat out the king of the franchise: Monster Hunter World.
Monster Hunter World, you see, rapidly became the fastest-selling game in Capcom's history in just two months. It hit a total of 13 million sales in its first six months. It hasn't just sold more copies than Monster Hunter Rise -- it sold them faster, too. Still, 8 million sales is nothing to sniff at and Monster Hunter Rise has some life in it yet. We're sure to see these sales numbers go up even more over the coming year.
