Today Atlus hosted an extensive livestream about its upcoming fantasy game Metaphor ReFantazio

First and foremost, we got the official confirmation that Metaphor ReFantazio, which was originally known as Project Re Fantasy, is coming for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, and PC (via Windows Store and Steam) with a simultaneous worldwide release. The release window is still a generic 2024.

When it was originally announced a few days ago, it only Xbox Platforms and the Windows store were mentioned.

Secondly, we got an extensive Q&A with the main developers, director Katsura Hashino, character designer Shigenori Soejima, and composer Shoji Meguro, which you can watch below, including a few glimpses of the game itself. You can also watch an on-demand recording of the full livestream

You can also watch the trailer with all the platforms displayed.

Here's how Atlus officially describes the game.

From the creative minds of the Persona series – Metaphor: ReFantazio marks ATLUS’ first ever, full-scale fantasy RPG, brought to you by director Katsura Hashino, character designer Shigenori Soejima, and composer Shoji Meguro. Write your destiny and rise above fear as you step into a fantasy world unlike anything you've seen before. Fraught with unsettling mystery, the kingdom stands on a precipice. Now, you must embark on a journey, overcoming obstacles and forging bonds with friends.

Metaphor: RePhantazio wasn't the only game revealed by Atlus in the past few days. We saw the reveal of Persona 3 Reload for P5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC, and Persona 5 Tactica, coming for the same platforms plus Nintendo Switch.
