A few days ago, during the Xbox Games Showcase, Atlus and Sega announced Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica for Microsoft's platforms. Today we get a confirmation that they're multiplatform.
The developer announced that Persona 5 Tactics is also coming for PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on top of Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One on November 17, 2023.
Persona 3 Reload is still marked as early 2024 and is also coming for PS5, PS4, and PC via Steam. No Nintendo Switch release was announced for this one.
We haven't yet seen a similar official multiplatform announcement made for the other Atlus game announced at the Xbox Games Showcase Metaphor: ReFantazio, but being a 2024 release, there's plenty of time, and if I was a betting man, I'd expect it to be confirmed as multiplatform sooner rather than later. That being said, please take this with the customary grain of salt, as it's simply my personal speculation based on Atlus' previous modus operandi.
In the meanwhile, you can check out the trailers below.
If you're unfamiliar with the games, here's how Atlus describes Persona 3 Reload officially:
Play the game like never before with a revamped battle system, cutting-edge graphics and gameplay, enhanced audio featuring all-new English voice-over, and much more. Dive into the Dark Hour and awaken the depths of your heart!
And here's an official description for Persona 5 Tactica.
After a strange incident, the Phantom Thieves wander into a bizarre realm where its citizens are living under tyrannical oppression. Surrounded by a military group named Legionnaires, they find themselves in grave danger until a mysterious revolutionary named Erina rescues them and offers an enticing deal in exchange for their help. What truth lies behind Erina and the deal she offers to the Phantom Thieves?"
Speaking of Persona 3, A remaster of Persona 3 Portable has recently been released for PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch and you can read our review. Our Andrew Stretch praised its "compelling story that interweaves global danger with the importance of building up friendships around you." While he admitted that it brought good enhancements, he also mentioned that it's not the "perfect" way to play the game. We'll have to wait and see if Persona 3 Reload will be that perfect version Andrew is waiting for.
