The latest Marvel Snap Season, Warriors of Wakanda, makes Black Panther available as a new character. However, you can only unlock him by purchasing the Marvel Snap Black Panther season pass, which is a bummer. Still, he seems like a pretty cool character. When you play him, his Power doubles, which can be used in combo with Wong so you can double his Power more than once. Neat.
The new Marvel Snap Black Panther season has also made four new locations available. These four locations will have you fully explore the African nation of Wakanda by visiting Shuri's Lab, Warrior Falls, Vibranium Mines, and the Wakadan Throne Room.
As for what these locations do, Shuri's Lab will double a card's power when it's played there and Warrior Falls will make cards fight after each turn, with the weakest ones destroyed. Perhaps most interesting are the Vibranium Mines, which will have you shuffle 3 Vibranium into your deck after a card is played. What is Vibranium? Well, it's a 1 Mana 4 Power card and it's indestructible, which should make for some interesting games.
The Marvel Snap Black Panther season will also come with new card backs to get your Wakanda on, as well as Variant Cards and Avatars. The shown variants are Black Panther, Okoye, and Nakia, and all three are drawn in different cartoon styles, with varying levels of detail.
This latest Marvel Snap season comes hot on the heels of the latest update to the game a few days ago, which added titles and tweaked boosters. Other cool things that were included in the update were character logos becoming more easily understandable and the PC version defaulting to 60 FPS, which is good, because as we all know, the higher the framerate the better.
