Today Cygames hosted its traditional Granblue Fantasy summer event and announced another event dedicated to Granblue Fantasy Relink and Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising.
During the livestream from Tokyo, producer Yuito Kimura announced that the event will be aired on September 16 at 6:00 pm Japan time, and it'll provide both a recap of the information about the games alongside new details.
At the moment, we don't know whether we'll hear release dates, but there's certainly hope considering that both games are coming in 2023 and by September there won't be many months left in the year.
It's worth mentioning that while the timing is similar, this event won't be part of Tokyo Game Show, which will happen the following week.
Director Tetsuya Fukuhara wasn't present as he currently is at EVO in Las Vegas where he revealed news about Versus: Rising yesterday, including the new character Grimnir.
Interestingly, nothing was shared during the finals of the Beta tournament that just concluded (with the victory of Gamera using Yuel), but yesterday Fukuhara-san appeared to tease that more information would come tomorrow during EVO's final day. That's intriguing, considering that the tournament has already ended and tomorrow's finals are dedicated to other games, but we'll keep an eye out for you.
Of course, you can expect a full report of the event in September here on TechRaptor as well.
