Guilty Gear Strive launched just over a month ago, but the momentum of the fighting game's incredible release isn't going to stop with the announcement of Guilty Gear Strive DLC Season Pass 1's first character.
Goldlewis Dickinson is the first new DLC character arriving to Guilty Gear Strive, available with Season Pass 1. While Arc System's latest is filled with plenty of veterans like Sol Badguy and Faust, newcomers are abound as well. Goldlewis Dickinson is one such newcomer to Guilty Gear Strive, featured as the United States of America's Secretary of Defense.
This burly, bearded politician is both an active-duty soldier and public servant. In his role as a fighter in Guilty Gear Strive, he's certainly portraying his skills in battle. In the recently released trailer for Goldlewis Dickinson, we see that he uses a supernatural coffin as his main ability combined with "unparalleled brute strength." He swings this coffin around like a giant maul and, upon being opened, a spectral hand reaches out. He also has a minigun that he single-handedly uses to spray bullets at enemy fighters.
With three out of five stars for his ease of use, he seems like a character players shouldn't have too much of a grasp getting the hang of. When is Goldlewis Dickinson Available?
As a part of the Season Pass 1 for Guilty Gear Strive, owners of said pass will be able to play Dickinson a bit earlier than the rest. For pass holders, you won't have to wait long at all. In a week will be playable, launching on July 27, 2021. For those who haven't bought the pass and opt to purchase him separately, he is available to buy a few days later on July 30, 2021. Dickinson is the first of five characters that will be available for this first season pass, with more on the way as time progresses.
This character's arrival was highly speculated and, after a datamine early last month, players might be able to expect the next few fighters to release. Files listed as GLD were found, which indicated Goldlewis as a fighter. Based on file names, other fighters speculated to release at some point include Asuka, Happy Chaos, Jam Juradoberi, and Jack-O' Valentine.
The wait is almost over for the freshly announced Goldlewis Dickinson, so keep an eye out for his unmistakably large presence on July 27, 2021. Guilty Gear Strive is available now on PS4, PS5, and PC.
