Today Microsoft shared new details about the upcoming Forza Motorsport, including the return of a relevant track and PC specs and details.
First of all, via the announcement on the Xbox Wire website, we learn that the Nürburgring GP circuit will be included in the game at launch.
That being said, the iconic super-long Nordschleife will not. It will be added to the game in spring 2024. Glass half-full. I suppose?
Starting today, pre-orders of the PC version via Steam are available, and Forza Motorsport will support both NVIDIA DLSS 2 and AMD FSR 2.2.
Optimization of the PC version will continue after release, but at launch, it will support "native resolutions up to 4K and beyond, including ultrawide resolutions during on-track gameplay, HDR calibration, shader pre-compilation, and pre-caching, DirectStorage for improved CPU loading, unlocked single-player framerates with or without V-Sync enabled, and more."
The game will also work with racing wheels from Logitech, Thrustmaster, and Fanatec, and even supports the DirectInput API on PC. This allows wider hardware support and full freedom in button mapping.
