Today Microsoft and Turn 10 revealed a new track that will be included in the upcoming racing game Forza Motorsport, Grand Oak Raceway.
If the name doesn't ring a bell, it's because this is a brand-new circuit that will debut with Forza Motorsport, and it's fictional.
It's described as a "super-wide and flowing track" with great high-speed sweepers and big elevation changes. The track has been specifically designed to teach players to carry speed through corners and allows high-performance cars to push their limits.
The layout has also been studied to let players hone their racecraft via clean and competitive racing. You can check it out below.
Incidentally, this trailer is part of a series and you can see three more in our dedicated article from yesterday.
Forza Motorsport will launch on October 10, 2023, for Xbox Series X|S and PC.
If you want to see even more, you can check out a really cool video about accessibility driving aids, a trailer for the Xbox Game Showcase in June, and a gameplay video focusing on the Builders Cup career mode.
Forza Motorsport marks the return of the series to its pure racing roots after a fairly long hiatus after Forza Motorsport 7 launched in 2017. In the meanwhile, we've had two Forza Horizon releases (4 and 5) in 2018 and 2021. Unlike its sister series by PlayGround games, Forza Motorsport doesn't feature open-world racing and remains confined to more classic circuits.
