Today Turn 10 Studios revealed an extensive look at the upcoming racing game Forza Motorsport, focusing on the career mode.

The career mode is called Builders Cup, built on the concept of mastering cars. By mastering cars, you can level them up, growing your relationship with them "at speed." We also get to see the dynamic time of day and weather system.

Interestingly, the Challenge the Grid feature lets you select a set of difficulty settings and challenges, including the starting position on the grid. Higher challenge means higher rewards. Another intriguing fact is that drivatars will also use your friends' customizations and liveries.

We then hear about substantial improvements to AI and driving physics, including a 46x boost to the fidelity of the tire model.

We also take a look at the customization menu, where you can install parts that you unlocked by spending car points that you accrued. You can also uninstall parts and get your points back, with an infinite ability to "respec" your car like in an RPG.

You can watch the video below. if you want to see more, you can take a look at the reveal from the Xbox Games Showcase.

Forza Motorsport will launch on October 10, 2023, for Xbox Series X|S and PC.

It's a return of the series to its roots after a long hiatus after Forza Motorsport 7 launched in 2017 and two Forza Horizon releases (4 and 5) in 2018 and 2021. Unlike its cousin series buy PlayGround games, it doesn't focus on open-world racing and remains confined to more classic circuits.
