Due to a security flaw in Bandai Namco's website, FromSoftware's next game, Elden Ring, has leaked ahead of its announcement. The security flaw also leaked Tales of Arise and Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered. The security flaw allowed information about Bandai Namco's unannounced games to leak to Discord and 4chan, among other websites. ZhugeEX captured screenshots, as well as platforms, suggesting that Elden Ring is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The leaked website had no release date aside from "Coming Soon," but hopefully we get to play Elden Ring in full before long.

Here's the description of Elden Ring, as scraped from Bandai Namco's website:

ELDEN RING, developed by FromSoftware, Inc. and BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc., is a fantasy action-RPG adventure set within a world created by Hidetaka Miyazaki – creator of the influential DARK SOULS video game series; and George R.R. Martin – author of The New York Times best-selling fantasy series, A Song of Ice and Fire.

Danger and discovery lurk around every corner in FromSoftware’s largest game to-date. Hidetaka Miyazaki, President and Game Director of FromSoftware Inc. & known for directing critically-acclaimed games in beloved franchises including Armored Core, Dark Souls, and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

George R.R. Martin is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of many novels, including the acclaimed series A Song of Ice and Fire - A Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings, A Storm of Swords, A Feast For Crows, and A Dance with Dragons. As a writer-producer, he has worked on The Twilight Zone, Beauty and the Beast, and various feature films and pilots that were never made.

Notable is the distinct lack of any exposition on the world of Elden Ring, though knowing FromSoftware, it likely takes place in a dark fantasy world with horrifying monsters. More notable is the fact that FromSoftware returned to partnering with Bandai Namco for Elden Ring, who they previously partnered with for Dark Souls, instead of partnering with Activision, as was the case for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice or Sony as was the case for Bloodborne. With Microsoft's press conference coming on Sunday, we might get our first glimpse of Elden Ring this weekend.
