Double Eleven has announced that it has been working with Bethesda Game Studios to produce new Fallout 76 content that will arrive later this year.
Fallout 76 has had its fair share of updates over the years such as with the addition of Fallout Worlds. Bethesda Game Studios has been doing most of the heavy lifting, but it's now getting some assistance from Double Eleven which is helping to make new Fallout 76 content -- and the first batch is arriving later this year.
What We Know About Double Eleven's New Fallout 76 Content
Unfortunately, we don't know much about Double Eleven's new Fallout 76 content other than the fact that it has been in development since late 2020.
"Bethesda and Double Eleven began speaking in late 2020, and since then we’ve worked together on a host of exciting new content that will be enjoyed by this passionate community of fans later in 2022," read the announcement from Double Eleven (via Reddit)
"We’ve loved working on this game so far, and from small beginnings our team is expanding as we plan to develop more content in the future so keep an eye on our careers page for more information on open roles across all disciplines," the announcement concluded.
Although the new Fallout 76 content has not been specified, the Fallout 76 2022 roadmap has revealed a fair amount of content on the way. This new content includes apparent alien invaders, fights against robots, and traveling to other regions of the world.
One has to wonder if Double Eleven has been brought on board to work on the new Expeditions feature -- and whether or not they'll be making use of those datamined Washington D.C. files discovered last year. For now, there's plenty of content for you to enjoy in the game -- you can buy Fallout 76 for PC and consoles starting at $39.99 or your regional equivalent.
