Koei Tecmo has revealed another big sales milestone for Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End and the Secret Key, the latest in the Secret sub-series of Atelier JRPGs. The game has now crossed 300,000 sales, so if you're a fan of these games and you're hoping for more, this should come as encouraging news.
Just a few days ago, Koei Tecmo announced that Ryza 3 had crossed 290,000 sales, with the prior two games in the Secret series selling 1.6 million copies in total. It looks like the game is still growing its audience, however, as a new Koei Tecmo tweet has confirmed Ryza 3 has crossed 300k.
It's not just the 300k milestone that Koei Tecmo is proud of, though. The studio has also confirmed that Atelier Ryza 3 is now officially the fastest-selling game in the Secret sub-series, which so far consists of three games. The fact that the series is being referred to as Secret rather than Ryza suggests we could see more games in this world with different protagonists in future, which is pretty exciting as a prospect.

The strong sales performance for Atelier Ryza 3 indicates that players are still interested in the Atelier series as a whole, which will bode well for the upcoming release of Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg. We'll have to wait and see what the future holds for Atelier Ryza and the Secret series, but given these encouraging figures, it's probably going to continue as a sub-series in some shape or form.
Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End and the Secret Key is available right now for PC, PlayStation consoles, and Nintendo Switch. In our review of the game, TR's very own Isaac Todd called it a "worthwhile end to the trilogy" for fans, but criticized its "messy" battle system and "rushed" story beats towards the end.
