UFO Robot Grendizer: The Feast of the Wolves

Today Microids released another gameplay trailer of its upcoming anime-inspired game UFO Robot Grendizer: The Feast of the Wolves.

This time around, we get to see the famous giant robot in action with the Spazer, its flying saucer that basically serves as inspiration for the title of the series.

You can watch it below.

If you're unfamiliar with the name, the game is inspired by the legendary Super Robot anime and manga UFO Robot Grendizer created by Go Nagai, which debuted in 1975. While it's not as famous in Anglophone countries, there's probably no one belonging to my generation in Italian and French-speaking countries (where it's called Goldrake and Goldorak respectively) who hasn't at least heard about it. We basically grew up watching a  variety of Go Nagai's anime on TV.

Incidentally, a new TV anime series dedicated to Grendizer has just been announced a few days ago, and will debut in 2024.

UFO Robot Grendizer: The Feast of the Wolves will release worldwide on November 14, 2023, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. The Nintendo Switch version doesn't have a release date just yet. All we know is that it'll come in 2024.

If you want to see more, you can check out plenty of gameplay showcased at Japan Expo in Paris and a previous trailer
