Abandoned Beach Hidden Waddle Dee Locations

It's time to hit the beach and explore the semi-aquatic side of this Forgotten Land. There are three hidden Waddle Dees for you to find in the Abandoned Beach level, so let's get to it!

Abandoned Beach hidden Waddle Dee #1 - The first Abandoned Beach hidden Waddle Dee can be found after the Wild Bonkers mini boss battle. Swallow the Hammer ability and climb up the ladder. Use the hammer to smash the stump and drop the large stone ledge into the water. Collect the first Hidden Waddle Dee!

Abandoned Beach hidden Waddle Dee #2 - You'll find the second hidden Waddle Dee tucked away on a cliff overlooking the area with the whirlpools. When you get to the whirlpool spinning around the island look for a ledge to the right. Climb up the ledges and use Kirby's hammer to smash the log at the top. This opens up a hidden path in the stone wall below. Jump down and swim into the opening. Use the hammer ability on the log here and immediately start running across the metal pathway. The hidden Waddle Dee will appear, but the path will begin to disappear. Run fast to retrieve the Waddle Dee before it despawns.

Abandoned Beach hidden Waddle Dee #3 - The third Abandoned Beach hidden Waddle Dee is located behind a cracked wall in the final part of the level. As Ring Mouth Kirby, steer the boat through the wall and you'll find the hidden Waddle Dee in the back of the stage.

Concrete Isles Hidden Waddle Dee Locations

The Concrete Isles Waddle Dee locations require a little bit more legwork to reveal. Throughout the level, you'll find different colored rotating diamond icons. Collect five of each color to reveal a hidden Waddle Dee.

Concrete Isles hidden Waddle Dee #1 - The first diamond shards you'll come across are green.You'll find the first four clearly laid out in the beginning of the level, easy to pick up. The fifth is behind the large walrus-looking creature on the platform. Collect all five and a platform will rise out of the water with a chest. Open the chest to reveal the first hidden Waddle Dee.

Concrete Isles hidden Waddle Dee

Concrete Isles hidden Waddle Dee #2 - Progress to the next set of platforms and begin collecting the orange diamond shards. Their locations are:

  • Just before the big cannon
  • On the platform immediately after, hidden underground
  • Access it with the Drill abilityOn the structure that's accessible by riding the platform that goes underneath the spinning spikes
  • Underground on the platform that's opposite the second large cannon
  • Underground in the alcove that's accessible by the Scissor-Lift Mouth ability

Collect each one and another platform will rise out of the ocean with a chest. Jump over to it and collect the hidden Waddle Dee.

Concrete Isles hidden Waddle Dee #3 - After you collect the orange shards, proceed to the back of the level and you'll find a small area where the barriers have sunk into the ocean. Swim through to a hidden island in the back and acquire the next Concrete Isles hidden Waddle Dee in the chest. You'll also unlock the Make Landfall on the Isle of Treasure Waddle Dee!

Concrete Isles hidden Waddle Dee #4 -The next set of green diamond shards to collect are in the following locations:

  • Underground on the platform that's moving back and forth
  • On top of the crates behind the walrus creature
  • Underground on the next platform that moves back and forth, opposite the cannon
  • Dig up the large sparkling bit of ground and ride the star to the high ledge. Roll with the Pipe Mouth ability to obtain the fourth green diamond
  • Jump with Pipe Mouth at the end to smash through the wall, acquiring the fifth green diamond and opening the door that's blocking the hidden Waddle Dee

Collect the Waddle Dee, and you're only a short ways away from completing the level.

Scale the Cement Summit Hidden Waddle Dee Locations

Cement Summit hidden Waddle Dee #1 - When you climb up the ladder to the area with the pool, look for another ladder that leads down. Follow that and use the Storage Mouth Kirby ability to reveal the first Concrete Isles hidden Wadde Deel.

Cement Summit hidden Waddle Dee #2 - After your battle with Fleurina and you get the tornado ability, there's a switch in the path ahead. Activate it and the second Concrete Isles hidden Waddle Dee will appear, but you'll have a limited time limit to retrieve it!

Cement Summit hidden Waddle Dee #3 - After the second Waddle Dee, look for some boxes along the path that block a doorway. Go through the door and you'll come to an area of spike pits that you need to navigate using Kirby's tornado ability. Hit the three switches along the way to open the door and retrieve the third Concrete Isles hidden Waddle Dee. If you do this without touching the spikes, you'll also get the Avoid the Spikes in the Secret Room Waddle Dee!

Cement Summit hidden Waddle Dee #4 - As Arch Mouth Kirby, you can fly through the skies! Keep an eye on the route. On the right side of the path you'll eventually see a cracked wall. Press A to use Kirby's dash ability to break through. The fourth Concrete Isles hidden Waddle Dee will be through that cave! If you miss him, there's a blue star at the end of the path that allows you to retry the route.

Fast-Flowing Waterworks Hidden Waddle Dee Locations

There are five Fast-Flowing Waterworks hidden Waddle Dees for you to find.

Fast-Flowing Waterworks hidden Waddle Dee #1 - The first hidden Waddle Dee is along the path of the flowing current underneath an arch. The current moves quickly, so keep an eye out and retrieve the Waddle Dee when you float by!

Fast-Flowing Waterworks hidden Waddle Dee #2 - When you get to an area with a bomb crate to activate, it'll blow a hole in the wall to the left of the water currents. Enter to find a boat and the hidden Waddle Dee at the end of a mini boat maze. Use the Ring Mouth ability to steer the boat to your destination. You'll have to charge through cracked walls under the time limit to retrieve it. The correct path is left, right, center.

Fast-Flowing Waterworks hidden Waddle Dee #3 - The third Waddle Dee is visible behind bars. Hit the switch below the flaming barrels to raise a platform across the water, allowing you to maneuver the stairs onto the switch that opens the gate to access the Waddle Dee, then rescue it!

Fast-Flowing Waterworks hidden Waddle Dee #4 - The fourth Fast-Flowing Waterworks hidden Waddle Dee is actually right behind Waddle Dee #3! Grab the second set of stairs and maneuver them onto the two switches on the right side of the stage to open up the remaining two gates. Collect the fourth hidden Waddle Dee.

Fast-Flowing Waterworks hidden Waddle Dee #5 - You'll find the fifth hidden Waddle Dee being held over a large whirlpool. On the right side of the stage there's a switch that will create a platform for you to walk out onto over the whirlpool. Walk out and retrieve the fifth and final Fast-Flowing Waterworks hidden Waddle Dee.
