The Slums make up the second part of Nova Sanctus, visited shortly after your arrival at Blim City. And, as with Blim City, there are lots of living chests known as Luglox scattered around the area. In our High On Life Slums Luglox Collectible Guide, we’ll show the locations of each one.
How do I open Luglox in High On Life?
You won't be able to open any of the Luglox in the Slums initially, keeping their contents a secret. However, during the story quest in the Slums, you’ll gain access to Knifey. This sentient knife will allow you to open any Luglox with a quick melee attack.
As a side note, your first visit into the Slums will only let you access part of the area. We also recommend continuing the main story until you unlock the jetpack and mag boots, both of which will make collecting all Luglox collectables far easier (and is sometimes required for certain ones).
How many Luglox are there in the Slums in High On Life?
There are a total of 26 Luglox in the Slums. Additionally, the Slums is made up of multiple sub-areas — Shanty Town, Laundromat District, Torg Territory, Sludgeworks, Uptown.

Shanty Town Luglox
Shanty Town Luglox #1
Go right after entering Slums, onto the muddy beach. From there press the button by the shack to create a zipline to the far side. Taking that across, use Kenny’s Trick Hole ability while standing on the nearby platform to launch over to the chest.
Shanty Town Luglox #2
Head back to the ramp, then go left into Shanty Town until you reach the large blue face statue. Grapple into the eye using Knifey to reach the Luglox inside.

Head left along the docks until you reach the Luglox chest behind the chain fence.
Shanty Town Luglox #4
From Shanty Town Luglox #3, head down the ramp and there’s another Luglox underneath the docks.

To the right of the Slums teleporter.
Laundromat District Luglox
Laundromat District Luglox #1
After crossing the bridge into the Laundromat District, head over the floating platform and look behind the red roof building.
Laundromat District Luglox #2
Available inside the Bubble Buds building, before the area you get Knifey.
Laundromat District Luglox #3
Outside Bubble Buds, grapple via the wasp up onto the nearby building. A Luglox is hidden inside the broken shipping container.

Outside Bubble Buds, next to the building with the green and blue roof.
Laundromat District Luglox #5
From Laundromat District Luglox #4, grapple around to another side of the building. An NPC there will be yelling about treasure.
Laundromat District Luglox #6
This Luglox is underneath the building where you acquire Knifey. You need to climb on the lower pipe outside the building, then crouch through the gap.

This Luglox is inside one of the small buildings on wall to the right of the large Uptown sign. Requires the jetpack.

Underneath the ramp behind some boxes.

Grapple up to the building at the right side of Torg Territory.
Sludgework Luglox

Just outside the boss arena. If you miss it, it can still be obtained by taking the zipline back from Shanty Town.
Uptown Luglox
Uptown Luglox #1
Head through the long pipe right at the start of Uptown.
Uptown Luglox #2
Go up the mag boot wall at the start of Uptown, then zipline over to the Luglox chest.

After running over the energy bridge, drop down and turn around. The Luglox chest is hidden between some boxes.
