RAGE 2 is an open-world first-person shooter and a sequel to 2011's RAGE. You play as Walker, a ranger out to survive in a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by asteroid 99942 Apophis. Walker's hometown is raided by The Authority, so he sets out to get revenge on them and take down their Abadon mutant armies.
Gameplay-wise, RAGE 2 mixes the frenetic, fast-paced shooting of 2016's DOOM with the open-world vehicular shenanigans of the original RAGE. Returning weapons from the first game include the iconic Wingstick projectile, while new additions include Nanotrite powers, an Overdrive mode, and enhanced vehicular combat to take part in.
