That legendary place that the end of the map reveals is only legendary once someone proves it's real, and now you can be the chosen one! One Piece Odyssey is a single-player JRPG developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment, which tells the tale of Monkey D. Luffy and his Strawhat crew who go on a dangerous mission to find treasures untold known as "One Piece".
The game was developed as a part of the series' 25th anniversary and takes the fans of the franchise right onto the raging seas as a part of the crew. During your journey across the water, a massive storm strikes your ship down, and you and your crew have been washed ashore on an island surrounded by even more raging storms. Players will become Straw Hat Luffy, who has now been separated from the rest of the crew and must go out in search of them. But of course, there are several terrifying enemies that stand in your way, and it is up to you to use the powers instilled in Luffy by the Devil Fruit to demolish anyone who stands in the way of you and your crew escaping the island.
Players will also have the opportunity to play as various members of the crew throughout Luffy's journey in order to find a way off of this crumbling island teeming with never before seen creatures. Players will be able to use a variety of skills, attacks, and abilities to fend off the monsters that roam, as well as replenish their health with various foods and recipes they come across during their journey. There are also items that can be utilized in combat to gain the upper hand against foes, as each enemy has a weakness that can be exploited. It is up to you and you alone to escape this island alive, and keep the Strawhat Crew together.
