Today Bandai Namco released a new video dedicated to the upcoming JRPG One Piece Odyssey, starring producer Katsuaki Tsuzuki.
Tsuzuki-san talks about the demo of the game that will release on January 10. It will provide access to the "first 1-2 hours from the start of the main game" including parts that were playable at events.
We'll enjoy playing as Liffy and his crew members as they land on Waford island, meet new characters Lim and Adio, and experience an introduction to the game and the basic systems.
On top of that, the demo comes with a data transfer feature that will let you resume your adventure where you've left it when you purchase the full version of the game. On top of that, completing the demo will grant you a "Golden Jelly" item in the final game as a reward.
That being said, some of the much-touted elements of the game like the memory worlds featuring Alabasta and and Water Seven won't be included in the trial version. You can watch the video below.
One Piece Odyssey is almost here and it will release for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on January 13, 2023.
If you’re unfamiliar with One Piece, it debuted all the way back in 1997 as a manga by Eiichiro Odaon on Shueiusha’s ultra-popular magazine Weekly Shounen Jump and it’s still ongoing. As a matter of fact, it recently passed its 100th volume, while the never-ending related anime series just passed the 1,000th episode.
