V Rising Farbane Woods Bosses Guide - Boss List

Here is a list of all of the V Rising Farbane Woods Bosses, including details on where to find them, what you get for beating them, and how to beat them both in solo combat and in multiplayer.

Alpha Wolf (Level 16)

Where to Find Alpha Wolf

The Alpha Wolf can be found in the south side of Farbane Woods, in one of the multiple Wolf Dens.

What Do You Get For Beating Alpha Wolf?

  • Vampire Power - Wolf Form

How to Beat Alpha Wolf

Make sure to take any basic wolves that might be nearby. Otherwise, just avoid the dash attacks and AOE growl after the boss drops below 50% health.

Recommended Gear/Skills for Alpha Wolf

As the first boss in the list, you won't have much on hand. At the very least, try to make a set of reinforced bone equipment.

Keely the Frost Archer (Level 20)

Where to Find Keely the Frost Archer

Keely is found at the Bandit Trapper Camp, near the eastern Farbane Woods vampire waygate

What Do You Get For Beating Keely the Frost Archer?

  • Basic Ability (Frost) - Frost Bat
  • Structure - Tannery
  • Recipe - Traveller's Wrap
  • Recipe - Empty Canteen
  • Recipe - Leather

How to Beat Keely the Frost Archer

Getting in close will reduce the effectiveness of Keely's arrows. When at low health, she'll occasionally fire out multiple AOEs, so keep moving until this is over.

Recommended Gear/Skills for Keely the Frost Archer

Upgrading to Nightstalker equipment will help with survivability.

Rufus the Foreman (Level 20)

Where to Find Rufus the Foreman

Rufus is at the Bandit Logging Camp near the center of Farbane Woods.

What Do You Get For Beating Rufus the Foreman

  • Basic Ability (Blood) - Blood Rage
  • Structure - Woodworking Bench
  • Crossbow Crafting
  • Recipe - Fishing Pole

How to Beat Rufus the Foreman

Make sure to clear out part of the camp of enemies before fighting, as it's easy to get overrun. As Rufus is another ranged fighter, keeping close is the way to go. However, killing the poachers he summons is a top priority, as he'll shield them if left alive long enough.

Recommended Gear/Skills for Rufus the Foreman

Nightstalker equipment is enough to fight Rufus as well. Crafting some Vermin Salve for healing is also recommended.

Errol the Stonebreaker (Level 20)

Where to Find Errol the Stonebreaker

Errol can be found in the deepest part of the Bandit Copper Mine.

What Do You Get For Beating Errol the Stonebreaker?

  • Basic Ability (Chaos) - Aftershock
  • Structure - Big Stash

How to Beat Errol the Stonebreaker

Errol is surrounded by workers, so clear these out before taking on the boss himself. Every now and then Error will start charging a close-range spinning attack, so move away until this is over. Clear out any workers that are summoned by Errol during the fight too — basic attacks are enough to deal with them.

Recommended Gear/Skills for Errol the Stonebreaker

Nightstalker equipment once again, plus a couple of Vermin Salves for healing.

V Rising Farbane Woods Bosses Guide - Lidia the Chaos Archer (Level 26)

Where to Find Lidia the Chaos Archer

Lidia can be found roaming along the roads of Farbane Woods with no set location.

What Do You Get For Beating Lidia the Chaos Archer

  • Basic Ability (Chaos) - Chaos Volley
  • Structure - The Devourer

How to Beat Lidia the Chaos Archer

Lidia is similar to Keely the Frost Archer, attacking from afar with arrows and firing off AOEs when at low health. She also has the ability to turn invisible, so keep an eye out for where she's going to appear. Since Lidia can be found anywhere in Farbane Woods, you might have to clear out any nearby enemies before starting the fight.

Recommended Gear/Skills for Lidia the Chaos Archer

Nightstalker equipment still works, plus Vermin Salves for healing.

Goreswine the Ravager (Level 27)

Where to Find Goreswine the Ravager

Goreswine is found in the Desecrated Graveyard at the southern side of Farbane Woods.

What Do You Get For Beating Goreswine the Ravager?

  • Basic Ability (Unholy) - Bone Explosion
  • Structure - Tomb
  • Structure - 'Nocturne' Fences
  • Recipe - Gravedigger Ring
  • Recipe - Grave Dust
  • Recipe - Skeleton
  • Recipe - Ghoul

How to Beat Goreswine the Ravager

Fighting Goreswine mainly involves fighting through hordes of skeletons. Taking these out with AOEs is the easiest way to keep them in check. Make sure to watch out for his projectiles too, as these will slow you for a few seconds if hit.

Recommended Gear/Skills for Goreswine the Ravager

Nightstalker equipment still works, though starting to move towards copper weapons is recommended. The Crimson Aegis power from beating Grayson can help with shielding too.

Grayson the Armourer (Level 27)

Where to Find Grayson the Armourer

Grayson is found in the Bandit Armory.

What Do You Get For Beating Grayson the Armourer?

  • Basic Ability (Illusion) - Phantom Aegis
  • Structure - Workshop Floors
  • Structure - Assortment of Statues
  • Recipe - Whetstone

How to Beat Grayson the Armourer

The main mechanic when fighting Grayson is the caltrops he periodically throws on the ground. His caltrops can be destroyed by equipping the metal armour found throughout the Bandit Armory and running over them.

Recommended Gear/Skills for Grayson the Armourer

Nightstalker equipment still works, plus a couple of Vermin Salves for healing. Upgrading from the bone ring is also recommended for some extra spell damage.

Putrid Rat (Level 30)

Where to Find Putrid Rat

Putrid Rat is a unique boss, requiring you to summon it via the buildable Vermin Nest structure. This is why you cannot track it via the Blood Altar.

How to Find the Putrid Rat in V Rising

You can find the Putrid Rat in V Rising by summoning it at a Vermin Nest. You'll need 1 Twilight Snapper (which you can get from Fishing or as a random drop from a crate, chest, or enemy), 4 Fish Bone (also acquired through Fishing or random drops), and 8 Grave Dust.

Keep in mind that this boss fight will take place within your Castle. This gives you the unique opportunity to prepare an area to fight this boss with minimal challenge or outside interference.

What Do You Get For Beating Putrid Rat?

  • Vampire Power - Rat Form

Clive the Firestarter (Level 30)

Where to Find Clive the Firestarter

Clive is found at the Bandit Sulphur Quarry in western Farbane Woods.

What Do You Get For Beating Clive the Firestarter?

  • Travel Ability (Chaos) - Veil of Chaos
  • Structure - Alchemy Table
  • Structure - Modest Brazier
  • Recipe - Minor Explosive Box

How to Beat Clive the Firestarter

Fighting Clive involves a lot of dodging. Not only does he throw lots of bombs (and even giant ones at low heath), there are also crates of explosives dotted around the Bandit Sulphur Quarry. Destroying the crates from a distance can make this fight more manageable.

Recommended Gear/Skills for Clive the Firestarter

Merciless Nightstalker equipment plus copper weapons is required.

Polora the Feywalker (Level 35)

Where to Find Polora the Feywalker

Polora is in the Gleaming Meadows at the western side of Farbane Woods (and north of the Bandit Sulphur Quarry).

What Do You Get For Beating Polora the Feywalker?

  • Basic Ability (Ullusion) - Spectral Wolf
  • Structure - Garden Foundations
  • Structure - Large Growing Plots
  • Structure - Growing Plot Collection
  • Recipe - Minor Garlic Resistance Brew

How to Beat Polora the Feywalker

Polora fires lots of energy projectiles, either 1 large or 3 split. She can also summon a pixie, which is healed if any of the energy projectiles hit it. While keeping close is recommended, Polora will occasionally use a close-range AOE that inflicts fear, causing you to run away uncontrollably for a few seconds.

Recommended Gear/Skills for Polora the Feywalker

Merciless Nightstalker equipment plus copper weapons is required. Blood Rose Brew via alchemy will also be the healing item to take from now on.

Ferocious Bear (Level 35)

Where to Find Ferocious Bear

Ferocious Bear can be found in the appropriately named Bear Cave, at the east side of Farbane Woods.

What Do You Get For Beating Ferocious Bear?

  • Vampire Power - Bear Form
  • Structure - Fur Rugs

How to Beat Ferocious Bear

Ferocious Bear fights primarily at close range, so using crossbows and ranged powers is a safe way to fight. The main thing to avoid at range is its dash attacks — it'll start doing multiple of these when at low health. Occasionally Ferocious Bear will stand up, before doing a ground slam which produces multiple smaller AOEs afterwards.

Recommended Gear/Skills for Ferocious Bear

Merciless Nightstalker, copper weapons, and Blood Rose Brew.

Nicholaus the Fallen (Level 35)

Where to Find Nicholaus the Fallen

Nicholaus resides in The Forgotten Cemetery, at the southwest side of Farbane Woods.

What Do You Get For Beating Nicholaus the Fallen?

  • Basic Ability (Unholy) - Corrupted Skull
  • Structure - Paper Press

How to Beat Nicholaus the Fallen

Nicholaus summons a lot of skeleton enemies, with armored ones showing up when he's at low health. These should be dealt with quickly, as they can start to get overwheling after a few waves have been summoned. Nicholaus' default projectiles explode on contact with you or the environment, so stay away from the walls and objects. Additionally, he'll cause fear to anyone nearby after he teleports, so keep some distance until this is over.

Recommended Gear/Skills for Nicholaus the Fallen

Merciless Nightstalker armor and Merciless Copper weapons at least — Can also start making iron equipment after beating Quincey the Bandit King. Lots of Blood Rose Brew for healing. AOE or shielding powers will also help with the hordes of enemies summoned.

Quincey the Bandit King (Level 37)

Where to Find Quincey the Bandit King

Quincey the Bandit King is found at the Bandit Stronghold at the north of Farbane Woods. You can only enter here by destroying the entrance gate with explosives — minor explosives can be made via alchemy.

What Do You Get For Beating Quincey the Bandit King?

  • Ultimate Ability (Chaos) - Merciless Charge
  • Structure - Smithy
  • Structure - Tailoring Bench
  • Recipe - Iron Ingot
  • Recipe - Hollowfang Battlegear

How to Beat Quincey the Bandit King

Quincey is a tough fight, having a lot of health and aggressive AI. All of his shield-based moves (marked by a dark red effect) will case damage over time if you're hit. He'll often charge at you from afar, and shield bash when close. At low health, Quincey will charge 3 times — if you direct hit towards a wall, he'll be stunned for a few seconds. This is the perfect time to deal some extra damage or heal up.

Recommended Gear/Skills for Quincey the Bandit King

Merciless Nightstalker armor and Merciless Copper weapons. Lots of Blood Rose Brew for healing.
