V Rising Crafting and Unlocks Guide - cover

This V Rising Crafting Guide will tell you how crafting works, where to get more workbenches and decorations, and how to unlock them!

How V Rising Crafting Works

V Rising Crafting is fairly straightforward. You can make a handful of starter items in your hand; after that, you'll need to build a Simple Workbench to make more complex recipes.

The Simple Workbnech is where you will discover that you'll need to refine some resources into others. Items such as Planks and Stone Bricks are critical for building a proper Castle or crafting higher-tier weaponry.

Unfortunately, you'll have to unlock some of the most useful workbenches in the game. Fortunately, we've got you covered -- this V Rising Crafting Guide will tell you how to unlock all of the various bits and bobs you need to be the baddest vampire on the block!

How to Unlock More Workbenches in V Rising

Many of the first V Rising Workbenches are unlocked by progressing through the tutorial. Some, however, can only be unlocked by fighting bosses.

Best Workbenches to Unlock First in V Rising

The best V Rising Workbenches to unlock first are the Tannery, Woodworking Bench, and Alchemy Table.

  • You can unlock the Tannery by defeating the V Blood Carrier Keely the Frost Archer. This will let you make Leather which is used for the first Castle Heart upgrade and for higher-tier armor.
  • You can unlock the Woodworking Bench by defeating the V Blood Carrier Rufus the Foreman. This will allow you to make Crossbows.
  • You can unlock the Alchemy Table by defeating the V Blood Carrier Clive the Firestarter. This allows you to make Explosives and Potions.

V Rising Crafting Unlocks

Many of the various Workbenches and other fundamental Buildings used in V Rising Crafting are unlocked by defeating bosses, but that's not the only way you can unlock items -- sometimes, you can loot them in the world.

Most of the cosmetic items in the game (such as furniture, curtains, and statues) can be unlocked through the three research tables using Books; otherwise, you can research random recipes using Paper, Scrolls, or Schematics.
