HoYoverse announced a new closed beta test for its upcoming action RPG Zenless Zone Zero, with registrations available now.
The new testing phase will be titled "Amplifying Test" and you can already sign up on the official site. At the moment, the start date of the beta has not been announced.
It's worth mentioning that, while a PS5 version of Zenless Zone Zero has recently been announced at the PlayStation State of Play in January, this beta phase will only be on PC, iOS, and Android.
HoYoverse promises this new beta phase will bring "significant changes" to combat and the Hollow exploration system.
We'll also get to meet a new character, Zhu Yuan, and a new faction, New Eridu Public Security's Criminal Investigation Special Response Team.
New Bangboo are also coming with a new combat technique, Bangboo chain attacks, which you can see in action in the trailer below.
The upgraded Hollow Deep Dive System will bring a new combat challenge known as Shiyu Defense and new combat missions. The new system allows players to go straight to the boss battle without any intermediate steps.
According to HoYoverse, this will significantly improve the overall gameplay experience. Combat design is also defined as "more dynamic, maximizing excitement for both newcomers and hardcore players, especially in Rally Missions and Hollow Zero."
Lastly, there will also be more urban life events and city guidance to enjoy in New Eridu.
