For you co-op puzzle fans out there, the most notable option since 2017 has been the We Were Here series, which has resulted in many shenanigans and betrayals that have helped make the series famous. With the We Were Here Forever release date being unveiled for May 10 on PC and later on for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 4 & 5, everyone will soon be able to betray their friend in Castle Rock and get away with it... at least online. In real life, it may be another story when the betrayed confronts their betrayer.
If you want to see some backstory, there's a six-episode live action series called We Were Here Stories: Chronicles of Castle Rock. It's narrated by one of the King's descendants through the eyes of Kees Klokkenmaker. If that's your thing, check out the first episode below:
As for the game itself, the We Were Here Forever release date means that there's probably lots of questions for the newest entry in Total Mayhem Games' series. To start, the game will run you 12+ hours, and you will interact with town of Rockbury's inhabitants in order to uncover what happened to the resistance that was formed against the King. You will then go to the Graveyard and then the Foundry as you ponder one question: will you ever truly escape Castle Rock? There's only one way to find out.
