Today Square Enix made a line of Final Fantasy XVI figures available for pre-order, and they kind of went overboard with the volume, including pretty much all the main characters.
Specifically, we get Clive Rosfield, Torgal, Jill Warrick, Cidolfus Telamon, Dion Lesage, Benedikta Harman, Barnabas Tharmr, and Hugo Kupka, plus a bundle with Clive and Thorgal. Each figure is priced at $129.00, while thee bundle costs $239.99.
The release windows are in July 2024 for Clive, August for Torgal and the bundle, September for Jill and Cid, October for Dion, November for Barnabas and Benedikta, and December for Hugo.
All of the figures are part of Square Enix's own Bring Arts action figure brand, so they come with a base, weapons, and alternate hands, and they're fully posable.
You can check out what they look like in the massive gallery below.
Final Fantasy XVI is currently available exclusively for PS5 and you can read our enthusiastic review in which our Andrew Stretch defined the game as "everything he could have hoped for and more" and "a deep story and fully fleshed out world that you'll want to be protecting." The game has sold three million copies in the first week since its release.
A PC version has also been confirmed by Yoshida-san himself, but Square Enix will need time to optimize the game for the platform, so we don't yet know when it'll launch. You can also read our interview with Yoshida-san and art director Hiroshi Minagawa.
Recently, we learned that PlatinumGames and the Kingdom Hearts team at Square Enix helped out with development. On top of that, the game has been updated to version 1.03.
