This Is the President is a story-driven satirical thriller where you (yes, you!) become the President of the United States and have only one goal in mind: of advancing your own agenda. This comes at a cost, though, because while you're a shady, rich, and ruthless businessman that is now the most powerful man in the world, you're also a shady, rich, and ruthless businessman. You have a past, and unless you want to get in big doodoo you have to ensure that the Presidential Immunity you currently enjoy is extended to a lifelong immunity.
If the name of this game sounds familiar, well, that's because development of This Is the President is being supervised by the creators of This Is the Police franchise, which makes sense given the naming scheme. It's a pretty big upgrade going from running a sheriff's department to the presidency, but hey, we'll have to make do, eh?
Your main goal in This Is the President is to pass the 28th Amendment to the Constitution, and you'll have to manage a team of professionals that are all working to ensure the amendment passes. You can also hold speeches, press conferences, and tweet like no President has ever tweeted before. You'll also be able to draft executive orders and manage the daily crises that a US President is expected to handle.
