Today Electronic Arts released a new trailer of the upcoming action-adventure game Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
The trailer focuses on the story and on the characters that we'll meet while playing the game, including Cere Junda (played by Debra Wilson), Merrin (Tina Ivlev), Greez Dritus (Daniel Roebuck), and a new character named Bode Akuna (Noshir Dalal).
We also take a look at a new planet that we'll be able to experience in Survivor, the Bedlam Raiders' home Koboh.
The trailer as a whole is certainly epic, and it's a rather exciting introduction to another Star Wars story. You can watch it below and see what I mean.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be released on April 28, 2023, which is a bit over a month after the release date we originally expected, which was March 15, 2023. The announcement of the delay was made a few weeks ago.
The game is coming for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It was announced in January 2022, and it's the sequel of the critically-acclaimed single-player action-adventure Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. It's set five years after its predecessor as an older and more experienced Cal Kestis is still struggling to keep out of sight as the power of the Galactic Empire grows. It's directed by Stig Asmussen, previously known for his work on the God of War series.
The first game was especially well received due to its single-player nature and lack of game-as-a-service elements, which were certainly uncharacteristic for a title published by Electronic Arts. It'll be definitely interesting to see if the sequel will be equally successful.
