Fans that have been eagerly awaiting the return of Spyro might have to wait just a little bit longer as Spyro Reignited Trilogy gets delayed until November 13th. The game was previously meant to be out on the 21st of September but when you've been waiting for so long already, what's another few months?

This news comes from a blog post that was put on the official Activision blog from Paul Yan the co-studio head of Toys for Bob. In the post, Yan explains that while the team at Toys for Bob were hoping they'd be able to get this game out by September "the Trilogy needs more love and care" and that in November when players are getting a chance to explore the Dragon Realms, Avalar, and the Forgotten Worlds that they'll hope that the time is worth the wait. While there was no official word on the reason past "love and care" many fans are already speculating whether this has anything to do with the news about Spyro 2 and 3 requiring a day one download that was noticed earlier this month.

This move to November will move the launch of Reignited Trilogy away from big September releases of Insomniac's Spider-Man and Shadow of the Tomb Raider but now will be releasing on the same day as Hitman 2, and within the same week as other big hitters, Fallout 76 and Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee.

We've reached out to both Activision and Toys for Bob for more information on where they're looking to do with their extra time.

What do you think about this delay in the 11th hour? What do you plan to do while you wait for the new release date? Do you think the new launch window will help or hinder the release of Spyro Reignited Trilogy? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
