Focus and Saber have revealed the SnowRunner season 10 release date, with the new DLC pack launching on July 18th. Titled "Fix & Connect", the new season will bring two massive new summer maps, where you'll have to rebuild infrastructure after a devastating storm, as well as new vehicles and more.
After SnowRunner season 8 let you loose in the countryside and season 9 took you to wildfire-ravaged Ontario, season 10 is heading in a more summery direction, according to a new Steam announcement post. Two new 4-kilometer-squared maps will be available, taking place in a "remote landscape of log stations and sawmills". You'll need to deliver generators, set up electric poles, and fix boats, weather stations, and more to get the region back online.
In addition to the new maps, you'll also get to road-test two new vehicles: the Mack Defense M917A3 and the Kenworth 963. The M917A3 is an offroad truck that's durable and rugged, while the Kenworth 963 is an absolute beast that can withstand pretty much anything you (or nature) might want to throw at it.
Along with the new maps and the extra trucks, a free content update is also coming for all players. This update will bring new cosmetics and a big crane addon, so if you're not picking up season 10 (which is a paid purchase), then you won't be left out in the dirt, as it were.
SnowRunner is available right now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. The season 10 Fix & Connect DLC is heading your way on July 18th, and you can buy it as a standalone purchase if you want. It'll also be included with SnowRunner's Year 3 Pass, as well as the 3-Year Anniversary Edition of the game, so if you bought either of those, then you can look forward to getting the season 10 DLC at no extra cost.
