RyseUp Studios and publisher Starbreeze have announced the Roboquest release window.

The roguelite FPS, which blends comic book-style visuals with fast-paced shooter action, will launch in full on PC and Xbox this fall. No specific release date has yet been announced.

Originally launched way back in August 2020 in Early Access, Roboquest can be tackled either in single-player or in two-player co-operative play.

You (and, optionally, a friend) will fight your way through randomly generated environments, dispatching enemies and bosses and grabbing upgrades as you go.

Permanent upgrades can also be unlocked, leading to new playstyle options and the potential for more progress on each subsequent run.

Roboquest places an emphasis on movement and momentum, too, so you'll find lots of opportunities for fast-paced, fluid motion during combat.

According to Starbreeze and RyseUp, Roboquest 1.0 will add the game's final level, as well as five alternative levels to play through.

It'll also bring new quests and secrets, four new weapons, and plenty of new enemies to dispatch, plus a new class, which will be revealed when the game launches.

Other additions include extra perks, reworked existing perks, and updated rendering, as well as new lore to help you get to grips with the world of Roboquest.

All in all, even if you picked up Roboquest at launch, you should find that the full release is much changed, so it'll likely be worth heading back in to see what's different.

Roboquest is available to grab right now on PC via Steam, as well as on Xbox platforms. It'll cost you $19.99, but that price could increase when the full version is released.

Again, we don't have a full release date for Roboquest yet, so stay tuned to TechRaptor for more info on that front as soon as we get hold of it.
