You can now get Pokemon Go items on Prime Gaming with your Amazon Prime membership, giving you a little boost to help you catch 'em all.

Pokemon Go has been around for a good few years and it's still going strong. The people behind the game recently made the decision to start doing in-person events again such as with a Community Day last month. Now, there's a new way to boost your chances of catching some critters: you can now get bundles of items on Prime Gaming.

What Do You Get in the Pokemon Go Prime Gaming Bundle?

The first of the Prime Gaming Pokemon Go bundle has launched today. This gives you access to five lower-level items (that are still quite useful); here's what you can get in the bundle:

  • 30 Poke Balls
  • 5 Max Revive
  • 1 Star Piece

This is just the start, though. Another three bundles will be arriving in June 2022 followed by at least two bundles in July. If it keeps an even pace of releases, that means that you'll be getting some free items every 10 days or so.

How to Redeem the Pokemon Go Prime Gaming Bundles

You can redeem the Pokemon Go Prime Gaming bundles with the following steps according to a press release:

Follow these steps to redeem a code online.

  1. Visit the redemption website here.
  2. Log in using the same credentials you use to access your Pokémon GO account.
  3. Enter your code.
  4. After successfully redeeming a code, a message will display that the items have been added to your inventory.

Follow these steps to redeem a code in-game (Android only).

  1. From the in-game map, tap the Poké Ball Menu.
  2. Tap the Shop icon.
  3. At the bottom of the in-game shop, enter your code in the text field under Promos.
  4. Tap Redeem.

It should be noted online code redemption is not possible with people who are using Pokemon Trainer Club accounts; you'll need to use another log-in method to redeem your Prime Gaming packs.

You can get these items by signing up for Amazon Prime with a free trial; after that, it's $14.99/month (plus tax). And, of course, you'll actually need the game to use these items -- you can play Pokemon Go for free on Android and iOS.
