Signups for a Pokemon Go GrubHub Plus event start today, giving the players the opportunity to unlock special Timed Research, earn some cool rewards, and get a chance at catching some special Pokemon.
Pokemon Go is no stranger to special events; it seems that Niantic is cooking up something new for players to do every few weeks. Now, the game has partnered with GrubHub to give players the opportunity to get some cool goodies — as long as you're willing to join GrubHub Plus.
How Does the Pokemon Go GrubHub Plus Event Work?
The Pokemon Go GrubHub Plus event first requires players to sign up for the service on GrubHub's website. Simply fill out your e-mail address and you'll receive an e-mail to join the service. Once that's done, you'll receive your ticket for this event. Tickets are limited to one per account and they will only be available until October 28, 2020, and this event is open to both current and new GrubHub members. Do note that you can cancel the signup during the trial period, even before November 4th, and still participate in the event.
Once you're all signed up, you should be set! Unfortunately, you're going to have to wait for the Pokemon Go GrubHub Plus event to launch — the special event content doesn't actually debut until early November. Tickets will be sent out starting on November 4th, and the event itself will only last for a few hours on Sunday, November 8, 2020.
The Pokemon Go GrubHub Plus event will let players tackle new Timed Research challenges. Complete them successfully and you'll earn three Incense, a Star Piece, and 100 Charizard Mega Energy.
Trainers will also encounter the following Pokemon during this event:
Additionally, the following critters will be attracted to Incense during the Pokemon Go GrubHub Plus event:
- Shiny Ferroseed
- Unown G
- Unown H
The Pokemon Go GrubHub Plus event will only run for a very short time. You can experience the event yourself on November 8, 2020, from 11:00 AM–2:00 PM local time. You can read more about this event on the Pokemon Go website.
