With Minecraft Live coming soon, the annual Mob Vote is also ready to go with the introduction of the third competitor, the Penguin.
The penguin isn't just very cute, but it's also friendly. It lives in the Stony Shores biome and it's amphibious, so it can live both on land and on water.
That being said, they can be a bit clumsy and slow on land while they're elegant and quick swimmers. Lastly, they have a special skill that helps your boat travel faster.

This follows the introduction of the Crab and Armadillo, completing the roster of three candidates for the mob vote. Only one will be selected by Minecraft's users to be added to the game.
The Mob vote will open the ballots at 1 p.m. EDT on October 13, exactly two days before Minecraft Live's livestream starts at the same hour on October 15.
Minecraft Live is the annual show during which Mojang reveals its plans for the year ahead, including big updates like The Wild update last year and the Trails & Tales update released earlier this year.
That being said, Trails & Tales was only partially revealed last year, so we'll have to wait and see whether Mojang sticks to the same formula a few days from now or changes things up again.
Another thing that we saw last year was the triumph of the Sniffer, which overcame all opposition and was implemented in Minecraft as part of the Trails & Tales update.
