A new Wild Hearts update has landed, bringing with it the terrifying avian shadow that is new Kemono Tsukuyomi. Also known as the "Specter of the Eclipse", this bird-like creature is going to take all of your wits to bring down, but if you manage it, you'll get materials for new gear.
Where previous Wild Hearts updates have pitted you against toxic monstrosities and violent mammals, this one's all about the heavens, as you'd expect from a Kemono called Tsukuyomi. Said to feast on a diet of sunlight rays, Tsukuyomi is too cool to fight with other Kemono, so you'll likely face it without any interruptions.
In terms of battle strategies, Tsukuyomi absorbs light as an energy source for its attacks, so you'll want to interrupt its absorption process however you can. Tsukuyomi is resistant to physical attacks, though, so you'll need to add elemental aspects to your battle strategy if you want to emerge victorious.
As well as Tsukuyomi, the new update also introduces four new Serial Hunt quests. These missions feaeture Mighty and Volatile Kemono, and if you need a refresher on how they work, you'll be hunting a gauntlet of Kemono within a time limit.
You won't be able to use healing wells while you're on these Serial Hunts, but your reward will increase each time you down a Kemono. If, however, you fail at any stage, you won't get anything at all. You can choose to bank whatever reward you've earned by bowing out early, though.
