Battlerite, Stunlock Studios' second chapter in the Bloodline Champions series (currently in Early Access), is receiving a new update, tomorrow November 10th. This update will add a few interesting things to the title. Most important of all, of course, is the introduction of a new champion to the roster: Ezmo "The Mischievous".

By the looks of it, Ezmo is going to be a fast and elusive ranged damage dealer with high levels of both mobility and annoyance (for the enemy at the very least). We don't have his precise skillset as of now. What we can get from the video is that his abilities are linked with the arcane and his ultimate creates a quite big explosion that deals damage in an area. He also makes use of an arcane book that he can put in place and acts as a turret. The book is actually mentioned in his background lore:

Ezmo was once imprisoned by the warlock, Aradu The Reserved, but managed to escape when his captor was too engrossed in reading his tome. Ezmo sealed Aradu's soul within the book, creating the Lost Soul Grimoire, and has carried it ever since. When he isn't playing tricks on people, Ezmo is searching for a way back to his home dimension.
This new update and champion arrive only three weeks after the huge Halloween update which added, among other things, two champions: Jumong "The Beast Hunter" and Ruh Kaan "The Crypt Warden". We mentioned in our preview of Battlerite that the game's roster needed more options before it could be considered sufficient for the purpose of the game. Apparently, that is a matter that the developers are very well aware of considering the speed they are releasing new champions at.

Battlerite's new Alpha update and Ezmo will arrive in your hard drives November 10th. Stunlock also claimed that this update will bring to the game new chest types, champion updates, and more improvements but we have no specific information about that.
