Pathea Games has announced that My Time at Sandrock has been wishlisted on 100k Steam wishlists, meaning that players will be able to makeup in-game when it releases.
There are three other things that Sandrock fans can work toward: customizable furniture at 150k Steam wishlists, a multiplayer play-date at 200k Steam wishlists, and allowing kids to grow up at 250k Steam wishlists. The wear make-up function will allow players to do eye shadow, lipstick, and "other cosmetic things" to their faces in-game.

The game itself was kickstarted on Kickstarter a while back, with the game receiving 9,915 backers and $524,770 for the game to be brought to life. What is the game? Well, it's a sandbox simulation RPG that is set in the My Time at Portia world and is inspired by Dark Cloud 2, Harvest Moon, "and the works of Miyazaki."
Players start the game by taking a job offer in the city-state of Sandrock. They are a Builder sent out in the wild to gather resources, build machines, and gradually build up your workshop and save the town from economic ruin, along with a few other things that the player will doubtlessly fix. There will be an open world to explore, the workshop is customizable, the game has hundreds of side-quests and an "elaborate story". It will also feature a revamped combat system that switches between melee combat and 3rd person shooting mechanics.
My Time at Sandrock will release on the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PC, and Next-Generation consoles in Summer 2022, with a Steam Early Access release in March 2021.
